I have 6-7 mexican restaurants within 5 minutes of my house, but when i want authentic Mexican I drive to the north side of town to Salsa. Clean, welcoming, superb salsas (per their name), and closest i have found to authentic Mexican since living there for years. Best overall Mexican value in town.

The beef on the American tacos is honestly the grosses meat I've ever had. I spit it right back out. The burrito California made with steak is huge and so good. 5/5, would order again. The beans and tortillas are delicious. The service is okay but that's mostly because of the language barrier. All and all I would come here again but I wouldn't order anything with their beef on it. Their steak is good, their chicken is good.

We had some miscommunication over the phone twice, but it's delicious food it almost makes up for the communication issues. However, the food was delicious even if my order was slightly off and I would go back again. My order is not one they offer on the menu. I believe that's why we struggle on occasion. I would love to see a California burrito without rice and make the fries a substitute. They have an adorable outside eating area with music. Wheelchair friendly.

Easy place to just stop in and grab some decent food without having to skip on rent this month. Service is fine, they're not checking on you the entire time, which I personally prefer, and the place is plenty small enough to grab their attention if I need anything. If you went here when they first opened and had a poor experience, so did I, they've improved a lot.

We sat in the corner booth by the door, and it was a little windy. It's not the fault of the restaurant, just poor seat choice on our part. Guacamole was good, which is the first thing we try at every restaurant. I had the fajitas Manuel, which had a good portion of shrimp. I would have liked to have a little more seasonings because it was a little bland but good. Hubby had the Burrito California, which was huge, and he enjoyed it a lot. We are very picky on Mexican food, and Michigan has a hard time getting Mexican food right, but we will be going back.
